Day 13: Describe How You Met The Last Person You Texted And Talk About Your Friendship/Relationship

How I met the person I last texted (messaged) and how our friendship mean to me.

Pitching – I fondly call her brad or brader (a vernacular term coined from the word brother. We often thought of ourselves as men trapped in a woman’s body.)

I think most of us have that one friend who we constantly communicate or that person who we haven’t talk to in a long time but when you get to talk to them, its as if nothing has changed and the absence seem non-existent. She is that one friend and I would say that even if our communication is on-and-off, it doesn’t mean that our friendship works the same way too. I believe that even if there are times that we didn’t communicate, the bond is still there. Day 12: Your Proudest Accomplishment

My proudest accomplishments.

Life is like an arena of different hurdles and challenges and we are presented with no other choice but to go through those challenges with the hope of acing them and making it to the end. Being able to surpass life’s challenges is indeed a huge accomplishment that we can really be proud of.

We all have accomplishments, however small it may seem, and at some point these accomplishments has really made us proud of ourselves. On some occasions, others may see these accomplishments as petty things, buy they mean so much to us because they have contributed in molding us into the person that we are now. For me, the greatest accomplishment that I am very proud of is setting up this blog and being able to keep up with all these posts. Day 11: Your worst/funniest/most embarrassing date

My worst/funniest/most embarrassing date.

Going on a date is one of the most intimidating moments of one’s life. You go out with someone you barely know and you allow yourself to be scrutinized and judged. On the other hand, you take extra effort on being too nice or too pretty with the hope that this could be him, that he might be the one for you, that he may be the person you could spend the rest of your life with. Almost all of us at some points in our lives experienced being asked out on a date. I’ve never been to so many dates myself but I think I have few interesting and memorable ones that I will surely cherish for the rest of my life but for the sake of answering the topic today, I think I will be sharing with you my most epic fail date. Day 10: Google the meaning of your name and talk about how it fits or doesn’t fit you

Google the meaning of your name and talk about how it fits or doesn’t fit you

In our country, the Philippines, babies are usually given two-word names. My mother named me Sarah Dawn for the sole reason that I am the youngest daughter in the Family and the youngest son is named Mark Don and she wanted our names to rhyme. But that was my mom’s take on naming me. Now let us take a look on what Google has for my name’s meaning.

For the name Sarah:

Hebrew Meaning: “The name Sarah is a Hebrew baby name. In Hebrew the meaning of the name Sarah is: Princess.

In the Bible, Sarah was the wife of Abraham and the mother of Isaac. Her name was originally Sarai (quarrelsome), but God commanded that her name be changed to Sarah before the birth of her son.

Biblical Meaning: The name Sarah is a Biblical baby name. In Biblical the meaning of the name Sarah is: Lady; Princess; Princess of the multitude.

American and Muslim Meaning: The name Sarah is a Muslim baby name.
In Muslim the meaning of the name Sarah is: Pure; Happy.”

Day 9: Your favorite “weird/funny single behavior” – Anything you do that is uniquely YOU and that living alone allows you to do

Your “funny/weird single behavior

We all have quirks and insane moments. We all have our own unique traits and chacteristic that make us who we are, an awesome and a beautiful creation of the Divine God who bestowed us with great abundance and bountiful blessings and opportunities.

So what is/are my funny/weird single behavior/s? Something that is uniquely me and that living on my own allows me to do. This is quite difficult because I haven’t had any chance of living on my own. Well, I live in an apartment and pay my own bills (but I still go home to my parents on long holidays and sometimes, on weekends) and I share the apartment with my single sister. So I’ve been pondering on the question for quite some time. And to be very honest, I have really some difficulty finding the answers to this topic. But I will answer this to the best way I can. Day 8 : Five Things That Are Most Important To You In A Future Mate

Five Things That Are Most Important To You In A Future Mate

We all have preferences – or maybe others would refer to them as standards – on whom we want to spend the rest of our lives with. I, myself would want to refer to them too as standards. Attitudes or characteristics that I would want him [my future mate] to possess. You may call me idealistic or whatever but I prefer to stick to these characteristics and hoping that one day, someday, God will allow our paths to cross and I would be checking these characteristics on my checklist. I am hoping against all hopes, though how idealistic it may seem that someone out there still exists bearing these so-called standards. Day 7: Where you are in your life vs. where you thought you would be at this point

Where you are in your life vs. where you thought you would be at this point

foriknowtheplans_Web_1024x1024Hello there! This is Day 7 of The Single Woman’s 30-Day Blogging Challenge and I must admit, this challenge is way more difficult than what I have expected. There were times in the past seven days that I would just lie on my bed, stare at the ceiling of my room, pondering and contemplating about the topic of the day. And each topic is equally challenging and though-provoking that sometimes, well often than not, I would find myself thinking about skipping one or more of the topics.
