Going in Circles

It’s quite a long journey

And I never knew when this would end

This really is a long journey

And there’s a lot of curves and bend

At times I feel like I’m going in circles

God, I badly need a few drops of miracles

This endless hours of sleeplessness

Causing momentary strikes of unhappiness

Dreams of him are quite different now

Questions of feelings for him somehow

Trying to creep up to the depths of my heart

Convincing this heart he’s not worth much

Of the trouble of the past

I think I’m still moving

Constantly going in circles

And around the corner of my wounded heart

I will soon find a way to start

Vanishing the ghost and shadows

Of those dreams where both our ways

Seem to never part

God, I need a few rays of light

A beacon ahead, a glimmer

A shove, a push, a knock on my head

To wake me up when I’m not sure how

I’m suppose to live.
